Research activities

From 1856 to 1869, Gennari carried out several fieldwork campaigns across Sardinia, collecting many specimens of plants that now form the main part of the collection stored in the Herbarium, the Botanical Museum of the University of Cagliari. His large number of publications attests to Gennari’s vast knowledge of Sardinian flora.
