Belong to this first group predominantly to direct percussion tools (picks and axes) serving for the excavation of rock cavities and for finishing of the walls or of the architectural closure elements (jambs of doors and windows) and furnishings (niches, pallets).

A second group of tools instead regards, the different phases of production of building stone; from the quarry cultivation (peaks quarry) at the first and second finishing blocks (toothed and smooth hammers, bush hammers, hammers for working slate)
