The research is carried out from university departments that represent all the main disciplines, from divisions of integrated medicine, and from many departmental and interdepartmental centers involved in specialized research activities. Many of these are at national level and internationally recognized.
The staff of the Universities is composed of around 880 people among professors, assistants and researchers. UNIMORE is part of a regional High Technology Cluster, that involves all the Universities of the Emilia Romagna Region and offers advanced services for the technological transfer in the field of mechanics, mechatronics, advanced materials, ICT in business applications and regenerative medicine.
